WHAT IS THE PARENT AND STUDENT ROLE IN HOMESCHOOLING WITH HERITAGE CHRISTIAN SCHOOL CO-OP?
Parents are the final authority in their students education. They hold the responsibility for their child's progress, grades, ensuring their child completes all co-op lesson assignments as well as meeting all of their county requirements for homeschooling. Students are responsible for completing their assignments and homework as given by the onsite teacher. On days the co-op does not meet, students are expected to complete their lessons assigned for those days and be prepared to progress with the lessons the following week.
WHAT IS THE ROLE OF THE ONSITE TEACHER?
At Heritage Christian School Homeschool Co-Op we are proud to be an Abeka Master Learn School. As an Abeka Master Learn School your child has the unique experience to receive instruction each week from state certified teachers. We extend this unique opportunity to the student's homeschool days as well where they have access to continue their instruction from home with their teacher online. We also have onsite class facilitators who help facilitate the classrooms to ensure children are engaged, completing their assignments, and grasping new concepts that are presented.
WHAT CLASSES DO YOU OFFER? WHAT DOES TUITION INCLUDE?
Our daily classes are Bible, Math, Language, History, Science, Health, Reading, Penmanship, and Art. Our tuition cost includes all student books, all teacher answer keys for the parent (this enables parents to be fully equipped to grade their student's work and have the correct answers for worksheets and assignments for their student at home), access to the student portal to obtain lessons with their state certified teacher for learning at home, along with all school supplies for co-op days to include pencils, crayons, erasers, rulers, paints, etc.
